Door Renew is franchise investment which specializes in refinishing wood and fiberglass doors with a focus on the Front Entry Doors. Their process will make the door look brand new and is done at a fraction of what it costs for a brand new door. At Door Renew, door and wood refinishing is their specialty… it’s all they do.
Strip Existing Door - Temperature and humidity fluctuations, exposure to the elements and damaging UV from the sun can destroy a door’s finish. In order to restore a door to its original beauty, the door must first be stripped down to naked wood or fiberglass.
Sand to perfection - with the old finish removed, the door is prepped to receive a new finish. This is done through meticulous sanding to remove blemishes from the old coat. Damaged areas are repaired. The surface is then cleared thoroughly to remove all residue, oils and dust.
Stain Door - A new coat of stain is applied to the raw door to restore the vibrant natural look. They use high quality stains such as Old Masters, Mohawk and General finishes.
Marine Grade Finish - They seal all of their doors with at least 5 coats of a high-build, top quality, marine grade varnish which contains UV filters. This is equal to roughly 10 coats of a traditional varnish. Then they apply a high quality finish coat. This results in a marine grade finish that will withstand the constant beating of the elements.
Executive (“hands-off”): Passive Income Franchise Ownership. You own the business, but hire out all functions required to operate it, including day-to-day management. You will have little or no physical presence at the business location and own the business purely as an investment, not as a way to create or change your employment/career situation.
Owner/Operator (“hands-on”): You are front-and-center in the function of the business. You’ll typically work onsite most or all days that the business is open. You directly supervise the staff that is needed to run the shop, and have little time to do much else besides run the franchise, to an extent that other employment is practically impossible.
Semi-Absentee: Passive Income Franchise Ownership. Operational responsibility falls somewhere in between Executive (hands-off) and Owner/Operator (hands-on). Many semi-absentee franchise owners begin by keeping their day jobs/careers and relying on a manager to get their first store off the ground. If the franchisee succeeds with their first unit and decides to open additional ones, running the multi-unit franchise may prove lucrative enough for the semi-absentee owner to leave their day job/career and focus solely on the growing business venture.
